Hand eczema? how long will it take to heal? does it take months, weeks? should i eat something diffe
Asked: Hand eczema? how long will it take to heal? does it take months, weeks? should i eat something diffe
I've had eczema on my left hand pinky, and right hand third finger. I'm starting to get the eczema on my right hand pinky and left hand index finger. I use cream that is prescribed from my doctor but it doesn't even work and this is the most strongest medicine and it doesn't look like its doing anything. How this all occurred was because i always love using lotions from bath and body works and i use to wash dishes without gloves. I keep my hands mosturized now especially with the cream mixed with vaseline, but i want this to go away quick! Or if i keep on mosturizing my affected fingers will this take months to heal? I've had hand eczema the past two years and its getting worse.
Asked: Undecided Question: Bleeding gums help please?
Liam's sister here! I'm 13 years old and I just brushed and flossed my teeth and my gums
started bleeding! That's the first time I have
brushed my teeth in a while! I tend to notice that my gums bleed almost everytime I floss!
What does this mean? What's wrong with my gums and teeth? Last time I visited the dentist was May but I haven't been back since and he never said anything to me then!
Asked: Can any dentists or experts help me out with a problem?
My mum is quite strict when it comes to cleaning teeth, and I try my best honestly. My teeth are nice and straight. But tonight, my brother and I were cleaning our teeth. He decided to have a look at my teeth. He noticed that I had very very small little holes on my front teeth, there were a few. I had a look at the mirror and I thought that this was the result of having the braces on my teeth when I was younger. I've noticed them there for a while but I can't seem to understand how I got them. I'm quite paranoid at this stage and I need advice onto how to handle the situation.
I am in college. I get up most mornings and I have my breakfast over in the canteen, thus I never really have time to clean my teeth as my lectures are straight after. Then I clean my teeth at night for 3 minutes or I try and then I use mouthwash. I put my retainers on and head to bed. Honestly, I know this is bad and I really should be trying harder to take care but my schedule is bizarre. If you could give any recommendations to follow so that I can actually clean my teeth 3 times a day, that would be helpful. I would love some advice to take better care of my teeth, I'll give a list of items I use and I'd like to know if I should be using it or not and any additional items would be appreciated.
I use an electric toothbrush, is this good?
How long should I use a toothbrush head for?
I use sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste.
I use Corsodyl mouthwash.
I place my retainers in a glass with small drop of milton sterilizing fluid along with water. I then clean them rinse them with mouthwash to get rid of the bleach like taste.
Should I be using dental flost, if so how many for my teeth? and how many times a day.
I think my brother is right and at this stage I don't think my mum will happy to hear that I want a dental appointment. I have a photo here that might be of some assistance, they're not my teeth but may give an indication to my problem. I will post the link on additional details:
As you can see in the photo, there is a hole of some sort on the front tooth, mine is not as large, quite small in comparison. Yet I have 3 tiny ones. What should I do, any advice, a timetable for each day etc….I know this sounds crazy, but at this stage I'm quite paranoid, I never want to get false teeth. Thank you for taking the time into reading and answering my question, it means alot for me and my teeth.

Asked: Shoes keep causing blisters?
I suffer from osteoarthritis in my left foot, as well as plantar faciitis. I am very heavy on shoes, maybe getting about threemonths from them before needing to replace them. As a result, I tend to favour walking boots to protect my feet, provide them with a requisite degree of support as well as to defray the running expense of paying for shoes all the time.
I recently bought 12 pairs of Peter Strom shoes, and although normally I am a size 10-10.5, I had to go up to a size 12 for these new shoes because they were pinching my toes. Initially, the shoes were a little loose at the heel but I quickly got used to them.
As is to expected, a month in, and there is already visible signs of degradation of the soles. My right foot has a giant blister which originally was just a blister, but has doubled in size and is now a blood blister.
I thought that I would replace the current pair of shoes (the Peter Strom boots with the rather worn soles) with a newer pair to hopefully reduce the friction and pressure on my blister.
However, I don't know if it is the new pair of shoes (which are identical to the previous pair except they are newer) or simply because I am doing more walking but, the blister has got larger.
I am deeply troubled by this. Will ALL my Peter Strom boots cause blisters? I have checked the used pair at the precise point of impact, where my blister is situated to see if there was any rough edges or anything untoward which could perhaps account for the friction. To be perfectly frank, I saw nothing out of the ordinary, and did not feel anything jagged or uneven.
I know that loose fitting shoes can sometimes cause blistering, but, I also wear orthortic insoles for my feet which are raised at the heel and thin at the toes.
If anyone can advise me as to the following:
1) How to prevent relapse of the blisters
2) How to reduce/cure the existing blisters

Stormyleigh Asked: Undecided Question: Where/how can i learn to craft/sew/create like other stay at home moms?
Im a 21 year old mother of a joyful almost 2 year old.I have Rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Rheumatoid arthritis is an Auto-immune disease that will never go away, its treatable not curable.
As a previous single mom, its a hard thing to grasp when you realize you'll never be able to support yourself or your son with a everyday job.
Unlike most people at this age would choose, i don't want to live off of the government.
I want to be a stay at home mom to my son and any other children down the road, yet support my family along WITH my partner.
All my mom friends that are stay-at-homes have some adorable skill like knitting, crafting, sewing, or jewelry.
I feel useless in that area. My mother was never one to teach, i raised myself for the most part.
I want to be a part of that group of stay at home moms that do these things and get to enjoy their children…. but…where do i even start?
Do you sell on etsy? Do you blog your creations? your own website?
Send me a link. Not only do i want to learn, i love to buy!
If you have any tips, hints, or advice please feel free to email me anytime or reply here. My ears are always open. (:
